Why you should read it: The completion of an epic saga and a beast of a final book in the Soulfinder series.
“Patience, Leif. Just be there for her. It takes time. But she’ll never return to the same woman you married. She can’t. None of us can. No matter if our experiences are good, bad or in-between, we all change and grow as the years build up.”
Dawn Study is easily the most jam packed book of the entire Study series and a great way to complete Yelena and Valek’s story. There was so much activity and movement within this book that by the end, I was so freaking glad this was the last book because I didn’t know if my nerves could take any more of Yelena and Valek being captured.
The most amazing thing about the Study series is Yelena and Valek’s journey and growth over more than a decade since the first book was published. Through the years, the “good, bad or in-between” experiences of each character have changed each person but also have changed their world for the better.
I’ve always been a huge fan of the Study series and Ms. Snyder in general. The fantasy, the epic journey, and the depth of her characters seem to grab me in such a way that I would hold on for dear life, immersing myself into her worlds and going along for the wonderful ride. Though I’m sad that Yelena and Valek’s story is over, Dawn Study was quite an apt way of ending their story and I’m not sure that I would have read any more of the Study series going forward. I’m ready to dive into something new from Ms. Snyder.
